This seems to happen every so often….I end up going a week or so without posting anything of actual merit.  We seem to be at one of those points right now.  This time I don’t think it’s really my fault, however.  I blame AT&T.  I detoxed from my internet addiction during Coachella because service was so spotty, and when I came back I was too overwhelmed to jump back into Tumblr.  Sadly that means I didn’t post any post-Coachella thoughts (in short: excellent time had by all, Thom Yorke was a religious experience, absolutely loved Dirty Projectors and Local Natives live, determined that I need to give Owen Pallett another chance after writing him off some time during the Final Fantasy phase).  

Anyway, has there ever been a more necessary title sequence than the one for Treme?  Coming off the incredible intensity of The Pacific (especially the past two episodes), I’m not sure I could transition out of the shell shock if it weren’t for that Treme theme song.  LOVE IT.  For reals though, if you’re not watching Treme yet, its time to get one board so you’re not the guy entering Season 4 like I did with The Wire.  The music alone is worth it.
